Cheap Android tablets seem to be raining in India, these days. After the recent launch of Reliance 3G tablet, Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises group company has launched an Android tablet called Magiq, at the four figure
price of Rs 9,999.
Beetel's Magiq has a 7-inch screen and runs Android 2.2. It is powered by a 1GHz processor and packs in 8GB of internal memory, expandable upto 16GB using microSC cards. 

According to the company, the tablet will be available in shops from next week.  "Magiq has been designed looking at the technology needs of the extremely demanding Indian customers," said Vinod Sawhny, CEO of Beetel. The tablet has two 2MP cameras and supports phone calls through a compatible Bluetooth headset. It has 8GB internal storage, expandable up to 24GB through a 16GB SD card. "At Beetel we remain committed to introduce affordable and feature-rich mobile devices which offer great value preposition and suit the customer's requirements and style," added Sawhny.

Beetel, Bharti's handset brand, is set to launch its latest tablet PC based on Android operating system today. The tablet, to be called 'Magiq', This tablet also offers 3G connectivity and WiFi. Given the specification and price, this tablet will have a wide appeal and if Beetel manages to offer decent build quality, it will be an extremely attractive device.
