It’s a familiar scenario for Wildfire users, who have been waiting for the update since November last year. The HTC Wildfire will be eventually be treated to Adobe Flash 10.1 support, 720p video capture, improved speed and a more powerful battery life.

Android 2.2 might not land on the HTC Wildfire for 3 customers this month after all it seems, after the carrier cited problems with the update.

3 had pledged to push out Froyo, AKA Android 2.2, to HTC’s mid-range Android marvel before the end of January. You’ll also get longer battery life and general performance optimisations.
