According to reports, the Galaxy S II Tegra 2 version will also swap Super AMOLED goodness, for a Super Clear LCD display. The Samsung Galaxy II will be available in the UK from the beginning of May, and is currently available to pre-order SIM free for £528.00.
we reported a while ago that the Samsung Galaxy S II will have two variants, one powered by Samsung’s own Exonys SoC and one with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 CPU at its core. The Galaxy S II I9103 will not only have the Tegra 2 inside it, but will also have a Super Clear LCD display in place of the Super AMOLED display.
Samsung unveiled its next generation high-end Galaxy series smartphone - Galaxy S II GT-I9100 at the Mobile World Congress 2011 last month in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung would be introducing a substitute of Galaxy S II with model number GT-I9103 which will have Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. The Galaxy S II GT-I9103 will have dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and will sport Super Clear LCD display. Lately, Samsung has quietly introduced the Galaxy S LCD 4GB (GT-I9003) in India to meet up the popularity and demand of the Galaxy S (GT-I9003).
We have knew for a while that Samsung Galaxy S 2 will have two versions, one with Samsung’s own Exynos and other with nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. But, according to a report on Mobile-Review the nVIDIA version will have another change in the form of Super Clear LCD in place of Super AMOLED Plus display.
It may not be good news for AMOLED lovers out there, but it will certainly bring down the price of this dual core Android phone. While, nothing has been officially announced by Samsung till now, we hope to hear more soon.
