Android Phone Tips
Making your own ringtones from your mobile phone is really easy.  It’s easier than it used to be actually. There is one really cool Android app that takes a really creative approach to creating ringtones than just cutting the song at the parts that you want and putting them in your phone.

Phones that have the Android market are not the only ones that are able to make ringtones quickly and easily.  iPhone apps also take the hard work out of creating your own tones. While trying to choose the start and stop positions can be frustrating and time consuming, the hardest part used to be truing to get the ringtone to work on your phone.

You used to have to transfer this file to your computer and then back onto your phone again. Not anymore, the apps from both Android and iPhones easily and readily create ringtones that are ready to be placed on your phone without even sitting at the computer.
Cutting your own ringtones from songs in your mobile library isn't hard at all, and there's even one ingenious Android app that takes a much more creative approach than the usual slice-and-serve. iPhone apps also handily make ringtones.

Apart from choosing the start and stop times--which can be frustrating and time-consuming depending on your level of meticulousness--the most trying portion of the creation process is transferring your newly created selection to iTunes and then back to your computer as a ringtone.

No, it doesn't make sense, but the apps show you how to do it and ultimately offer an easy enough way to ready 'tones for your phone while you're away from your computer.
